Fleet & Equipment

Ready for any NSW site.

A modern, AS 1742.3 compliant inventory and a maintained TMA fleet across New South Wales. If the job calls for it, we have it — and if it does not, we will not send it.

Fleet overview

Vehicles built for the work.

Every vehicle in our fleet is spec'd, fitted-out and maintained for one job — getting your site controlled and your traffic moving.

Utes & vans

Dual-cab utes and crew vans carrying the full go-bag for a standard setup — cones, delineators, signs, PPE spares, comms and first-aid. Branded, GPS-tracked, serviced on a 10,000 km rotation.

Traffic trucks

Custom-fit-out light trucks for mid-scale jobs — signs, water barriers, tape, VMS controllers and a 6 kVA genset for long static sites. Rear beacon bar and illuminated arrow board as standard.

TMA units

Truck-mounted attenuators (TMAs) tested to MASH TL-3 with rear-crash cushions for work on speed-exposed corridors. Mandatory on classified roads at 80 km/h+. Pre- and post-deployment inspection logged.

VMS & arrow-board trailers

Solar VMS trailers (variable message signs) and arrow-board trailers with 3G/4G remote control and GPS lock. Used for advance warning, lane closures, detour guidance and event wayfinding.

Equipment inventory

The gear on every truck.

Everything is AS 1742.3 compliant and in rotation — nothing faded, nothing cracked, nothing held together with tape.

AS 1742.3

Traffic cones

Orange, 450 mm and 700 mm, Class 1 reflective sleeve.

The workhorses of every setup. 450 mm for urban and 40 km/h environments, 700 mm for higher-speed corridors and overnight work. Stacked, bagged and swapped out when faded.

AS 1742.3

Water-filled barriers

Interlocking modular units, high-vis orange.

Deployed for positive separation between live traffic and workforce on higher-risk jobs. Filled on site, drained and stored clean. Linked with steel anchors where required.

AS 1742.3

Variable Message Signs (VMS)

Solar, remote-programmable, AS 4852 compliant.

Used for advance warning, detour messages, speed reminders and event wayfinding. Programmed remotely by dispatch, mapped to the TGS and battery-tested before deployment.

AS 1742.3

Arrow boards

Trailer-mounted, LED, full-directional.

Deployed ahead of lane closures and merges. Backed up with advance warning VMS on higher-speed roads. Auto-dim at dusk so glare does not bleed into oncoming traffic.

AS 1742.3

Stop/slow bats

450 mm reflective, fibreglass handle.

The tool every controller carries for manual traffic control at point of work. Replaced before reflective life expires, not after. Night-rated Class 1 reflective on both faces.

AS 1742.3

Temporary fencing

Orange netting, steel mesh panels, mobile gates.

Pedestrian exclusion, public separation and plant-zone control. Anchored with concrete feet or ground pins to suit the site. Hi-vis scrim attached for event use.

AS 1742.3

Reflective tape & delineators

Class 1 retroreflective, AS 1743 compliant.

Flexible, weighted delineator posts for merge lines, edge lines and temporary channelisation. Night-rated and visible in wet conditions — because most incidents happen in the wet.

AS 1742.3

Temporary road signage

AS 1742 / AS 1743 regulatory and warning signs.

Full inventory of regulatory, warning and guide signs — covered, uncovered, frame-mounted and trailer-mounted. Replaced on a reflective-life schedule, not a 'looks OK' schedule.

Servicing & compliance

Maintained. Audited. Replaced.

Gear wins or loses a site in the wet at 0300. It has to work every time, so we run a real maintenance regime — not a logbook with blank pages.

Every item of equipment gets a pre-deployment inspection before it leaves the depot — reflective life check on cones and signs, charge and comms check on VMS and arrow-board trailers, crash-cushion seal and attenuator fluid check on TMAs. If it fails the check, it goes to the workshop, not to site. Vehicles run on a scheduled 10,000 km service cycle with logged brake, tyre and underbody inspections.

We run annual audits of the full fleet against AS 1742.3:2019 and manufacturer specs, with a formal third-party inspection on TMA units and VMS trailers. Cones and signs are replaced on a reflective-life schedule — not a 'looks OK' schedule — and all faded gear is retired to non-road use or destroyed. Replacement cycles are baked into our pricing, so you never pay for tired kit.
