About ATC

Locally owned. Site ready. Built for NSW.

A NSW-built traffic control operator, run by people who've worked the cones. Safety, punctuality and fair pricing — ahead of everything else.

Our story

Started on site. Built for sites.

Aussie Traffic Control was founded in 2026 — not in a marketing meeting, but on the side of a job.

Our founders are senior site supervisors who spent a decade running NSW infrastructure jobs — arterial upgrades, utility renewals, council maintenance rounds. Over those years they watched the same traffic control problems turn up on site after site: late crew, missing TMPs, worn-out cones, controllers with the wrong tickets, and quotes that bore no resemblance to the invoice. Good contractors were getting burned and good controllers were getting treated like disposable labour.

In early 2026 they put the laptops down and started building the business they wished they could have hired. The brief was simple: a crew-first, site-first operator that gets a truck on the road in under an hour, quotes the job honestly, and never sends a controller to a site they are not ticketed or briefed for. No offshore call centres, no body-shop agency layers, no tired cones.

Today our leadership team still spends part of every week on site — signing off setups, running toolbox briefs, and sitting in on stakeholder approvals. That is deliberate. It keeps the dispatch office honest, keeps our designers close to what actually gets built, and makes sure the crew know the boss will be there at 0330 too. We are NSW owned, NSW insured, and we intend to stay that way.

What we stand for

Four values, on every shift.

Not a wall poster. The four standards every crew, controller and quote is held to.

Safety before everything

Every setup starts with a hazard read, a SWMS and a toolbox brief. We do not green-light a lane closure until the controls are right for the road and the traffic. If a job cannot be done safely on the plan we have, the plan gets changed before boots hit the ground.

Turn up. On time. Every shift.

Crews are rostered the day before, briefed by 0500, and on site before the client's start window. Our dispatch team tracks every truck and every controller so nothing gets lost in a 0300 handover. If something slips, you hear it from us first — not from the crew waiting at the gate.

Treat the crew right

Our controllers are employees, not numbers on an agency board. We pay award-and-above, cover tickets and PPE, and build shift patterns that let people have a life. Good crew stick around, and good crew is the only way we hit the standard we hit.

Price clean. Quote fast.

Quotes are itemised — crew, vehicles, plant, TMP, after-hours loadings — so you know exactly what you are paying for. No hidden call-out fees, no penalty rate surprises on invoice day. Most standard jobs get a written quote back within four hours of the enquiry.
